Laws and regulations
We have a high level of competence and in-depth knowledge of rules and legislation that regulate work at height in Norway. Høyden was part of the working group that revised the Norwegian standard for rope access (NS 9600) in 2020, we sit on the board of the Cooperative Body for Rope Access (SOFT) and are part of the working group for fall accidents to Cooperation for Safety in the Construction Industry (SfS BA).
The advisers in Høyden can assist in understanding regulations and conduct courses for work at height and fall protection. The Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority also has useful information on its website and the three regulations Regulations on organization, management and participation , the Workplace Regulations and Regulations on the performance of work are important to have knowledge of for both employer and employee.
