Fall protection course, full day (according to NS 9610)
WHO THE COURSE IS FOR
This course provides participants with a basis for choosing methods and equipment with the highest possible level of protection adapted to the individual work task to be completed. The course follows the requirements of NS9610 and addresses the topics of work against the edge , lifters, and scaffolding . The course is suitable for those who work with several different fall protection solutions in several different locations. It is especially suitable for those who work on construction sites or operate several different properties. Participants are introduced to both access restriction systems and fall arrest systems.
WHAT YOU LEARN
The course provides an introduction to requirements for rescue preparedness, but the practical part of the course does not include rescue and the participants are therefore not qualified to carry out rescue. Norwegian regulations and the national standard for fall arrest (NS 9610) stipulate that everyone who is to work in fall arrest mode must have special training in rescue.
We recommend that the course is combined with a rescue course from Høyden to meet this requirement.
Fall arrest course, half day
WHO THE COURSE IS FOR
This course is designed for personnel working on a permanent building or a fixed location (known place to the user) and is particularly suitable for personnel operating commercial real estate. Participants are introduced to both fall restraining systems and fall arrest systems, adapted to the relevant location and the equipment to be used. The course is not intended for, for example, work on a construction site, where conditions and solutions for fall protection change along the way (see separate course for construction site).
WHAT YOU LEARN
The course provides an introduction to requirements for rescue preparedness, but the practical part of the course does not deal with rescue and the participants are therefore not qualified to carry out a rescue. Norwegian regulations and the national standard for fall protection (NS 9610) state that everyone who will work as a fall arrester must have special training in rescue. We therefore recommend that the course be combined with a rescue course from Høyden to meet this requirement.
The two courses Fall Protection (half day) and Rescue (half day) can be combined as a full day course at a discounted price.
