All work at height must be risk assessed. It is imposed on all employers through the Regulations on the performance of work.

Høyden assists in understanding the regulations and helps employers and employees to make simple and sound risk assessments that ensure an optimal level of protection for the workplace operations to be carried out. It helps to establish effective procedures to ensure that work is carried out safely.

We ourselves have many years of experience with practical execution work at height and associated risk assessments and safe job analyses, both from construction in the city and offshore work on the Norwegian continental shelf.

We assist several of the country's largest contractors and real estate companies in the preparation of internal instructions and procedures for safe work at height on commercial real estate and construction sites. Good documentation and routines raise the competence level in companies and contribute to creating safer workplaces and increased competence.

We have a high level of competence and in-depth knowledge of rules and legislation that regulate work at height in Norway. Høyden was part of the working group that revised the Norwegian standard for rope access (NS 9600) in 2020, we sit on the board of the Cooperative Body for Rope Access (SOFT) and are part of the working group for fall accidents to Cooperation for Safety in the Construction Industry (SfS BA).
