When new facade lighting is to be installed, or old lighting is replaced, this can be done easily and cost-effectively by carrying out the work using rope access. By using rope access as a method, you avoid any extra costs that are incurred, for example by closing traffic, renting a lift, etc.

Facade lighting can be changed/installed at any height. We set up a rig on the roof of the building and abseil down to the relevant point where it is to be installed. Depending on the complexity of the assignment, one or two people will be responsible for carrying out the operation, a ground guard is responsible for a safety zone at ground level.

All tools that technicians rely on are anchored with ropes to harnesses, so there is never any risk of tools falling down. Both our technicians and whatever is to be installed, given that it is heavy, are anchored to two ropes to ensure safety.

Facade signs and lighting are lowered (or hoisted up if most appropriate) using a rope moped. For electrical installations, an electrician will assist the operation from a rope.

A facade lighting installation job can take 3-8 hours depending on the complexity of the building. Before performing such operations, we assess all anchor points on the building's roof. Once we have established a rig for the building's facade, we can easily perform other operations such as performing a condition assessment, washing the facade or windows, without incurring additional rigging costs.
