Rope access is often the most efficient and cost-saving working method for building maintenance. As a method, this is a very favorable alternative compared to lifts and facade cradles (BMU). By installing adapted access systems, those who work with facade maintenance and window replacements become more efficient. Høyden installs aluminum rails, davit arms and other products that provide building owners with virtually maintenance-free and solid systems, without electronics or other technology.

Environmentally friendly buildings, Breeam certifications, modern architecture, narrow building floors and restrictions on motorized traffic at street level are all factors that speak for simple mechanical systems operated by muscle power, ropes and skilled craftsmen. Compared to traditional access and facade cleaning systems, Høydens systems are highly flexible, visually discreet and cost-effective in both the operational and investment phases.

At Høyden , we combine knowledge of access technology with knowledge of buildings, the sum of which enables us to offer unique solutions for the operation of modern building facades. Many of the country's largest property owners and contractors are now building several of their properties with access technology as the chosen maintenance method.

Høydens systems are designed so that it is always possible to work with double anchor points and thus work in accordance with the NS 9600 "Work in rope" regulations.

We certify the systems for periodic inspections once a year and have electronic registration of the installation in our database. Building owners receive digital certificates of installation and reminders before each inspection.

On flat roofs, rail systems are often the best access solution. A rail system ensures very efficient access and is well suited for routine cleaning and maintenance of exterior facades as well as interior atriums. The rail systems can also be used as fall protection for service personnel. One system thus seamlessly covers two needs. In the internal atrium, the rail systems are particularly suitable due to their compact design, as well as the fact that they can be supplied in different colors and surfaces to minimize visual disturbance.
