An important entrance to Høyden's work is to map the condition of buildings. This is carried out in connection with individual assignments or as a regular routine where you have this as part of the building's maintenance plan.

At a condition assessment, Høyden will access the facade while anchored on the roof of the building. There are no or very few places we cannot access, which is one of the great benefits of engaging Høyden to execute the condition report.

During the actual work, we may find that there are issues that can be remedied there and then, such as loose moldings or fittings. If desired, this can be done as part of the condition assessment. A condition assessment normally involves us walking over the entire surface of the building and preparing a complete condition assessment for the building. We carry out visual and physical inspections of areas and installations on the roof and facade in line with the customer's needs.

In some cases, we can make an assessment of special conditions, such as brick and masonry quality (any wounds), windows and cornices, etc.

When work is completed, Høyden delivers a full report with ranking according to the following scale;

  1. Critical damage. Should be fixed as soon as possible.
    Potential risk of falling items.

  2. Relevant findings. Significant weaknesses.
    Need for improvement.

  3. Weakness. For information.

  4. Condition OK.
    No further follow-up necessary.

    In connection with the assessment, Høyden will be able to provide quotes for certain tasks on site. In addition, an agreement can be made that the inspection can include immediate repairs should this be of interest.
